Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By using Whistleblower.Live, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility & Account

You must be 16+ (or older if required in your region).

You must provide a valid email at registration for identification.

Keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity on your account.

Usernames must follow our rules (letters/numbers/underscore; length limits).

3. User Content & License

You retain ownership of your content. You grant Whistleblower.Live a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, publish, display, distribute, and create derivative works of your content solely to operate, improve, and promote the Service (including feeds, recommendations, republish/share previews, backups, and moderation workflows).

4. Allegations, Responsibility & Verification

This is a whistleblowing platform. Allegations about individuals or businesses are permitted.

You are solely responsible for what you publish (including defamation, privacy, and IP implications).

We may manually verify reports or media and may label or limit visibility during review.

Verification does not guarantee truth.

5. Anonymity & Identification

You may remain pseudonymous to other users, but must register with a valid email.

We may preserve or disclose account info when legally required.

6. Edits, Drafts & Deletion

Drafts can be edited until you publish.

Posted reports cannot be edited.

You may delete posted reports; republished/shared or cached copies may persist for a reasonable period.

7. Prohibited Conduct

  • Doxxing or publishing personal data of private individuals without lawful basis.
  • Harassment, threats, hate, incitement of violence, or extremist propaganda.
  • Illegal content or instructions facilitating illegal activity.
  • IP infringement; spam or manipulation; probing/scraping/abusing the Service.

8. Media Rules

Up to 10 media items per report. Videos ≤ 60 seconds.

We may hold media until verification.

9. Address/Location Features

When you search/choose an address, we use places/address APIs to return the location you select.

We do not track background GPS.

10. Moderation & Enforcement

We may remove content, limit visibility, or ban/suspend accounts for violations or when law is implicated.

We may preserve content for investigations or legal obligations.

11. No Emergency / No Professional Advice

Whistleblower.Live is not an emergency service and does not provide legal or professional advice.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service and user content are provided "as is" without warranties.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or losses arising from reliance on user content.

13. Reporting & Takedowns

Use in-app reporting or email support@whistleblower.live with URLs/screenshots and reasons.

We'll review and act where appropriate (including defamation/IP claims).

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations or to protect users, the Service, or comply with law.

15. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by Canadian Law.

Disputes will be resolved in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms; the updated Terms will be effective when posted.

Continued use means acceptance.
