Whistleblower Live — Child Safety Standards
Effective date: 17 Aug 2025 • Contact: support@whistleblower.live
Zero-tolerance policy
We prohibit child sexual abuse material (CSAM), the sexual exploitation or abuse of children, grooming, and any content that endangers children. We remove and report such content without delay.
Who can use the app
Whistleblower Live is not intended for users under 16. We may restrict or terminate accounts suspected to be used to harm children.
How content is handled
- Reports are reviewed by trained moderators.
- Image/video hashing and keyword signals may be used to help detect prohibited content.
- We immediately disable access to suspected CSAM and preserve evidence for authorities.
Reporting & escalation
- Users can report child-safety concerns directly in the app (choose the "Child Safety" category) or via email.
- We promptly escalate confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authority in the reporter's region (e.g., NCMEC CyberTipline in the U.S., Cybertip.ca in Canada, IWF in the U.K., or local law enforcement).
- We cooperate with lawful requests and preserve logs/metadata as required.
Prevention & education
- Clear in-app guidance discourages sharing or requesting CSAM and provides links to help resources.
- Repeat or egregious violations lead to immediate account termination.
